Flower Power

I am so engrossed with making flowers that I didn't realised time has fly pass me so quickly!

I bought Quickutz Scallop Nestabilities recently and it has kept me busy like a newborn puppy. I love the variety of sizes that it comes with and it allows me to make assorted flower shapes.

Over here, I used 3 layers of assorted coloured paper and mist it with Maya Mist (so in love with it!) They do wonders!


If you wanna get a puffier flower, stack 4 to 5 layers and bind them up with brads.
A note to take when come to shopping for glimmer mist. I love making flowers so I am inclined to warmer shades like pink, red and yellow. They are great on chip boards too. My hands are crafter certified now as they are smudges in colours.

Will be away on production for the time being.

New Arrival to the house

No, no one is pregnant and it's not a baby I was referring to but my newly arrived EPIC six.


I have gotten some template before the arrival of the machine and I have been ecstatically cranking all night. It is definitely make a good investment.

The one thing that I am not entirely happy with it is the cutting mat. It bends upward when cranked and it has tendency to push at the plastic cover, making a loud thud sound.
While cranking, hold on to the top part so that it remain flat as it goes. Other than that, it's a beauty!

This is what have been keeping me busy for the past few weeks.

Initially, I crashed the page with assorted colours and it was all over.

I was feeling disheartened and wanted to tear the pages to pieces. The angrier i felt, the more pieces I wanted to take

apart.

Somehow, I felt very troubled whenever I look at it.

I find peace with it when I finally took it out and stare at it for the longest time and decided to patch things on top.

Finally, with patience and determination. I revamp the entire page again.
