Paper flower

Sorry folks for MIA. I haven't been blogging for a while now and reason being, besides busy filling up the shopping carts due to the crazy sales, I have been getting my hands on the EK Success Whale Puncher that I recently bought.

To make a grunge flower (Definition of grunge = dirt + beautiful), you will need glue and flower puncher.

Punch out 3 flowers from a cardstock. A patterned one will be ideal. I used a plain one to practise and to try out first.

First flower, cut off one petal. Second flower, cut off two petal and last flower, just fold it into half and snip the middle. Second flower would create a two petal and a three petal.

On each flower, glue one end to the other. The tough part would be the two petal and you might need to make crease. It's fine.

Curl each petals.

Glue three petals onto five petals, pushing it to end. With the snip, it will open up, securing it. Snip off the cone for the two petals so that it will not jut out when glue onto the three petals. Lastly, also snip off for one petal to glue it in the middle.

This should be the outcome. They turn out brilliant!

I even tried it on glitter paper. They are thicker making it harder to curl but they turn out sturdier.

Ta daa~!
